What color for which mood
It isn't new information to state that how a room is painted and the colors someone wears can shift someones subconscious and in turn shift someones mood. Color psychology is an actual thing but we'll just talk briefly about it shall we?
Now putting those in aspect to interior painting, we'll go through a few colors and explain them
Red
While many people link red to romance and roses, it is also linked to hostility and rage. Red is known to raise blood pressure, heart beat and irritability. Though red can also promote hunger, which is why most fast food chains have the color red mixed into the logo.

Blue
As an opposite blue is a very calming color that can make you feel centered and relaxed. It is known to help lower blood pressure, clear the mind and help steady one's breathing. Calm and steady like the ocean.
Good for: Living rooms, department stores
Yellow
Yellow can promote quick thinking with the brightness and energy that the color gives. yellow like the sun also stimulates joy and happiness. Though keep in mind it is a very warm color and having too much of it around with too many other colors can cause things to look hectic and have the opposite effect.
Good for: Kitchens, Restaurants
Green
Being a cooler color like blue, reduces anxiety and promotes a clearer mind like the feeling you get when sitting in a garden, minus the bugs of course.
Good for : Offices
Purple
Still on the cooler side of the colors, purple can help reduce anxiety deep purples give off a very romantic, mysterious and luxurious feeling and are great for sparking creativity. lighter purples are great for relaxation and promoting sleep
Good For: Craft room, Bedroom
Pink
Ending on a sweet note, pink is a interesting color where the longer you are exposed to it the better it is for you. Pink promotes feelings of playfulness, love and kindness.
